Echoes of the Deep Audio Not Working on macOS

Symptoms: Game launches silently or audio cuts out after the menu.
  1. Check macOS Sound settings — Echoes routes to the output device active at launch, not the current one.
  2. Quit the game, switch audio output, then relaunch.
  3. Reset the game’s audio cache: hold Option at launch and choose Reset Audio.
  4. If using Bluetooth headphones, connect them before launching the game.
