Starfall Odyssey Crashing on Startup After Update 2.4
Applies to Game: Starfall Odyssey
Symptoms: Crash to desktop right after the logo screen, only since the 2.4 patch.
- Update your GPU drivers — the 2.4 renderer change requires newer drivers on GTX cards.
- Set the launch option -dx11 as a temporary workaround.
- Remove any outdated mods — 2.4 changed the shader pipeline and old mods will crash the game.
- Verify files after any of the above steps.
