Overview

Dungeon Ledger inverts the dungeon crawler: you are the accountant of a failing evil lair, and your weapon is a spreadsheet. Every monster is a salary, every trap a depreciation line, and every hero who dies in your halls is — grimly — recurring revenue.

It is funnier than it sounds, and deeper too. The 1.7 update added monster contracts that let you build around synergies (a Mimic sales team, an Ooze recycling program).

Runs on almost anything; the Android version is a faithful port with excellent cloud saves.

Dungeon Ledger Beginner Strategy Guide

Your first five runs will fail. These principles make run six different. Never spend your last 100 gold — heroes smell desperation. Hire a Greeter Imp first: happy heroes spend more in the gift shop. Rotate trap types weekly; heroes adapt to repeated layouts. Keep one empty room — some events require vacancy.
